The Author
My name is Chelsea- I am a pet lover and owner living in the lovely town of Ottawa, Ontario. I was inspired to begin this blog by my good friend Ali and her pooch Barley. My husband and I are the proud owners of two fantastic cats and two hilarious dogs.
In my spare time, I love to teach highland dancing to the next generation of champions, a cardio inspired class at the local gyms and spend time with my furry family. I also love all TLC realities shows, taking pictures, museums, every single crime show on TV, Tim Horton's bagels, a fully charged cell phone and my iPod :)
We hope to share the many adventures our pets take us on here on this blog, and hopefully hear some stories from other pet owners. There will be lots of pictures, stories and videos posted, so stay tuned!

Rascal
I suppose the one thing you need to know about this cat is that he lives up to his name in every sense!
Rascal was the first pet we adopted and brought home. He has been making me laugh since day one (and doesn't seem like he will be stopping any time soon). This crazy cat is loud and proud, incredibly social and doesn't seem to understand personal boundaries. Although he has his 'jerk' moments here and there, he is a lovable guy. Rascal can swoon any girl at any time while still maintaining his 'macho' personality. I also have a feeling he might think he's a dog.......but more on that later!

Zoe
Zoe is definitely the 'Daddy's Girl' out of all the pets. Although she may look like a cute, cuddly little fur ball- believe me, she is not! Do not let those green eyes and tuxedo fool you. She only loves her man Scott (clearly his words, not mine!) and will settle for nothing less!
This cat seems to have an 'elite' club of people she will tolerate, but as long as you give this sweet looking kitten her treats (beef flavoured treats only please!) and turn the bathroom tap on for her when she asks, you'll be in her good books in no time. The wait is worth it- once this snuggle butt warms up to you, you will forever be in her good books!
Bailey
Bailey is the newest addition to our little family. She joined us August 2011 and has been teaching her humans and her cats what it means to have a puppy around. Although she was originally a shy timid dog, this pooch is known for squeezing her bum to that your hand is perfectly placed to scratch.
Her favorite things to do include going to the dog park, playing with her Aunt Sophie and Cousin Rizzo, cuddling with Rascal (that's right. I caught you two spooning together!) and trying to burry dog bones in her human's beds, eating shoes, taking up as much room on the bed as possible and chasing squirrels. Oh, did I mention she loves to visit her grandparents and get spoiled rotten?
Bonnie
Bonnie, originally Bonita, joined us from the Humane Society of Cozumel this past September and has been enjoying life in Canada. Originally our foster (huge fail!), Bonnie officially became ours in October 2012.
Her favorite things include cuddling with her humans, playing 'bitey face' with Bailey, going for walks and riding in the car. Dislikes including getting in trouble for eating cat poop and going outside when it's cold and rainy. I'm assuming I'll have to add snow to that list in the coming months!
We are continuing the process of getting to know this little pooch- but let me tell you. From what we've seen so far, we are in love! She was an obvious fit with our family, and has made our home complete.
